The USGS wants to install a nodal Seismograph on my property not sure what to do! Why was my property selected?? Help GLP!

The usgs came by my house today and dropped off a permit to give them permission install a nodal Seismograph on my property for 60 days. I live in Alaska btw near anchorage. Any thoughts as to why they would select my property. I’m kinda freaking out. I’d appreciate any real input guys.
