THE UK risked being in the line of fire from "debris" when one of Elon Musk's Starlink satellites hurtled towards Earth from space, the UK Space Agency warned as the Ministry of Defence (MOD) tracked its journey.

The SpaceX probe entered Earth's atmosphere earlier on its way back from orbit. The UK Space Agency (UKSA) originally said there was a "low chance" that Starlink-1855 would burn up over the UK. They now believe the satellite disintegrated during re-entry.
