Original Message I was activating a credit card and the call went to an agent in the Phillipines. In the middle of our conversation, the agent did a shriek, then immediately apologized saying that there is a quake. I told her if she felt we needed to disconnect, it will be okay.

She sat quiet for a moment and expressed it was still goin. I told her I was glad to remain on the line and know what she is experiencing as I have been in some quakes myself in the past.

She was glad I was understanding and we both hung on the line til the shaking was done. Completed the activation of my card.

I wonder if the La Palma volcano had anything to do with the quake in the Phillipines
