I'm going to salt the fence line and get rid of it once and for all.
I am naturally immune to it. I live and work in the woods and have never had a problem with it, but others with me get it bad. Jewlweed as stated grows nearby and works well and vinegar as suggested.
About a week ago i got a pretty
bad case of poison ivy
. I tried different things like camomile lotion, aspercreme, biofreeze, and ozone infused hemp oil. They helped a little bit but not much. Also i tried cleaning the rash with warm water and lye soap then rinsing it with cold water. This helped to relieve the itchyness for a while but the rash soon started itching again.
Then i got the idea to use some
colloidal silver
. I put some in a little spray bottle and sprayed the rash. Almost immediately the itchiness stopped and stayed pretty comfortable for a longer period than from the other remedies.
If you've ever had poison ivy you know that the ichiness can really be challenging to deal with so i was pretty happy with this result.
I then did a search for
poison ivy and colloidal silver
and found this article:

Keep this in mind
if you or a loved one ends up with a poison ivy rash.
Good luck!
October 5 2021 additional ingredient: doing further research I found that people were getting even better results by mixing equal parts of colloidal silver with aloe vera gel and then rubbing that on the affected area.
I'm trying it now. I'll let you know.
