Original Message Posted this comment in another thread. But I feel it deserves a thread to bring to light the delusions of grandeur Americans feel as they look down in disappointment at other countries, all the while heading down the same road.

Americans with the gun talk keep putting their faith in guns they'll never use!

So far in America:
People
can't be free to work a job they love.
Can't be free to teach children.
Can't be free to care for the sick.
Can't be free to pursue a career.
Can't be free to own a successful business.
Can't be free to travel as they wish.
Can't be free to take a cruise.
Can't be free to cross into Canada and visit the beautiful Falls.

And all it took to take away these freedoms was a needle and syringe.
And not a gun yet in sight.
So good we have guns huh?
So much for a nation with guns!

The sad truth. We have already been disarmed, while still "armed".
