Look, I'm not saying they aren't terrifying, they are.  But do you really think that a load of these against a battalion of Chinese is going to be insurmountable?  There is technology that states have concealed from the public within every state.  Those things aren't designed with combat zones in mind.  Park ten of them on every corner block and who needs people to to control other people?
