Original Message I was 15 and my sister 13 when we were taken by a riptide and dragged miles to sea. It was 1983 So. Cal. We were just chatting and felt no movement. We panicked some then tried to swim back. But we were going against the riptide and got nowhere. We were both excellent swimmers but eventually had to give up. We drowned. Then a voice came in my ear asking me if I want to live and I said yes and we were both saved by our guardian angels. It was so lonely floating way out to sea and no one knowing except my sister in the same predicament.
