Original Message Looking at another post it calls to mind a memory of when I was 5 or so, just before my mother died. We lived in a Victorian house in New Jersey. Some times when my mother put me to bed the shadow man would enter my room and watch me. It was nothing more than a black silhouette, but wore something of a trench coat and black wide brimmed hat.

I saw him once more briefly a short time before my grand father passed some 5 years later.

I cannot say that I ever felt fear of this, but I was very curious as to what it could be.

Have any of you ever seen or experienced this?
