Watched it the other night with the wife and could not wait for it to be over with.
As season 2 goes on, it's getting a little tired. That kind of my point...The Witcher isn't doing much Witching, is he? Just babysitting with no real goal in mind. Yennifer is not Yennifering Etc. So many shows feel like they have to do this. It's a trope at this point.
Yes very boring and way too much drawn out nonsense. However you are the one that said it is the best fantasy series to date. You did put that in the title. The Witcher is not even the best fantasy series on Netflix
Well, what's the best Fantasy series, film or TV? It's not Game of Thrones...the last couple of seasons killed it. It's not Lord of the Rings...homo and boring running here then running there... It's not Wheel of Time...awful, slow, repetitive and derivative Point us in the right direction?
Why can we never get a straight-up Dungeon Crawl with the five principals working together to get through?
Classic Dungeons and Dragons type show would be amazing...maybe the Lolth series culminating with the final showdown in the Abyss?
S2 of the Witcher and we've already broken the group up into separate stories...marginalizing the actual Witcher, namesake of the show, focusing on new characters and relationships we barely got to enjoy the foundational vibe of the show.
It's still amazing, and boy did "Wheel of Time" suck a LOT of ass (Waste of Time?) but I would really like a show where the stories are within the group, not all over the place.
Battlestar Galactica was a good example of that.
Buffy, another
Aye, said I
They broke up The Beatles and look how THAT turned out :P
