[quote:Anonymous Coward 72552018:MV81MDEyNDY5XzkxNzc0MjY0X0UxMzhCM0Qw] We do see more kinds of cancer in intact pets ( for one thing they have more parts and hormones to get those cancers). But we also see increases in other cancers from spaying or neutering too early. (Blood vessel and bone cancers). These can occur anyway but recent studies are showing some breeds can have increased rates if spayed or neutered before puberty. I recommend neutering due to overpopulation, minimizing costs long term....a c section is 1-3 thousand dollars if an unplanned pregnancy doesn't go as hoped, an infected uterus is another very expensive and risky surgery. Male dogs who are intact go crazy if there is a dog nearby in heat and run away, break windows, get hit by cars on misadventures, and often get prostate problems later in life. Not to mention puppies are literal poop factories. Having a litter at home for fun will wreck your house. I'm talking poop in your dishwasher kind of wreck. It's not for the faint heated. [/quote]

We want a family dog, and I found all the rescues here give the poor animals TONS of shots (and sterilize/microchip them).
I don't want a Brave New World dog. I want a normal dog.
I found someone with a litter of puppies their dogs had at home (took a long time to find normal puppies not from a breeder, or rejects at a rescue!)
It turns out in my city it's required by law to get them injected and licensed.
I assume the one vet in town are libtards that vax everything to death, judging by all the "stay home stay safe" and "mask up" yard signs they have out front.
How do sane people keep a dog without dealing with all this? Somebody told me to buy the vax vial from pet drug supply, empty it, and attach a note saying the date it was given, then present that as proof. It appears I cannot have that shipped to Minnesota, as all pets must be injected only by a vet here.
