Reserve just released this week’s data. This happens every Thursday at approximately 4:30. Last weeks release showed for the first time ever a -negative balance for 'non borrowed reserves' (2nd column). This is the first time ever this has happened.
Look at the February 7, 2008 release! The Fed is not publishing this weeks data in the current release. So the question that begs is why? There can only be one reason and that is they are in deep-deep shit. The reserve is now out of reserves!!!!!!!!!!
NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS ABOUT IT.
Look at the other releases and you will see for yourself what this means!
