My whole family had covid. My dad, mom, myself and my son. (we all live together). All of us took ivermectin except my mom, she refused. We were all pretty sick but recovered. My dad is still very weak but he is 84 years old. He is really unable to get out of bed,but can sit on the side of the bed and eat. My mom, however, got so sick I had to call an ambulance on Feb. 8. She had a high fever and was very confused, almost didnt recognize me. She hadnt eaten in a few days as well. They diagnosed her with covid, of course and double pneumonia, put her on Bipap and pumped antibiotics in her. They had her in the "covid wing" at our hospital, today they called and are moving her to ICU. She wont keep the bipap mask on and her O2 drops to dangerous levels as soon as she removes the mask. The reason i made this thread is to ask any of you, does this mean she doesnt have a chance? Is she unable to breathe without the mask, and can her lungs heal..btw, she's 80 years old. It's hard to get any answers from the hospital, i know the nurses are very busy and they dont seem to answer a lot of the questions. The nurse also said she becomes very confused when she removes the mask.
