I was doing some reading on the Chinese military, and found out they apparently buy / bought large numbers of engines for their jets and ships, from a manufacturer in the Ukraine ( Circa 2010-2014 )
So, I googled a bit and found an article from last year, March 18, 2021, titled
" Ukraine blocks Chinese takeover of jet engine maker on US urging "
Motor Sich holds key military technology for Beijing, now Kyiv's top trade partner
-- Ukraine will halt the takeover of an aircraft engine maker by a Chinese company, responding to U.S. objections over the prospect of important military technology falling into Beijing's hands

Might want to Google this article as well as the company Motor Sich, it's rather interesting in light of the situation in the Ukraine, and China's stance thus far.....
