Original Message For me, it was using the San Francisco subway about 4 years ago. In the station, there were needles all over the place and aggressive heroin addicts would yell at me and try to get in my face while I was trying to buy a ticket. I saw a couple of people shouting at them to leave them the fuck alone. I walked down a hallway and there was this small Asian lady yelling at the heroin addicts who were laying around/passed out "Do you monkeys want bananas? You give black people a bad name." I remember her using the N word a couple of times too. It was both scary and strange.
