I live near chicago. Most of the listings of events on a given weekend are the same boring sh it. Restaurants, plays, movies, street fairs, concerts.
All commercial junk revolving around eating and sbopping.
Crains used to have a lost called 10 top things in chicago this weekend...always had interesting stuff like seed swaps where world travelers swapped seeds amd told stories.
