[quote:Dread Pirate Roberts:MV82NzE4ODlfMTAyMzgxNzhfOTQyNDg5MkU=] [quote:Charles Fort 558133] My, I have never seen anybody as obsessed with Enoch as you, Mr Fort. We already had one discussion whereupon I showed you why the book of Enoch is not scripture. Now you make a false assumption: that Jesus's life started when he was born. Jesus ALWAYS Lived, since the beginning., John 1: The Deity of Jesus Christ 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. The book you're quoting from was written after the Book of Enoch. The oldest of all dead sea scrolls belong to Enoch. http://www.bib-arch.org/online-exclusives/dead-sea-scrolls-08.asp Any book written containing beliefs, characters and the story line found in the Book of Enoch are forgeries, "do you not understand this?" The One who writes the story "first" is the Author of that story!!!! Your Jesus could have borrowed someone else's story, wait, he did, HORUS the Egyptian God-King, lol, what a fraud artist!!!! "Could christian followers be bigger fishes?" Oh yeah they could, that's what the fish symbol stands for, rotf... http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_jcpa5.htm
sigh. yes. the book of John was written around 50 AD. But the Truth it contains tells us that Jesus always lived. So do many other scriptures. You are looking at trees ans missing the forest:the forest is Jesus who is the savior of all mankind and forgiver of our sins. The One who wrote the story first is God.He is the author and finisher of our faith. The book of Enoch is not scriptures, so to benchmark everything else against it is a false premise.
Original Message
Jesus wasn't born when the Book Of Enoch was written, fragments of the "dead sea scrolls" confirms this. Jesus used the term "Son Of Man" and did not acknowledge the Author of that "term" (Enoch) making Jesus a plagiarist, a liar.

The oldest of all dead sea scrolls belong to Enoch, those of the Old Testament date from 150 BCE to 70 CE. The One who wrote the story first is the Author of that story, every other book written containing beliefs, characters and the story line found in the Book of Enoch are forgeries.
Call it fate.
