[quote:BluzGal:MV82ODQ0MTJfMTA0NDk2NTBfQkM1RkEyNjU=] [quote:INANNA 485858] Sex, drugs, rock n roll... thats everywhere, I think its the choices made of who to associate and resonate with that will make ones own circle world be what it will be. Definately not a 'party girl', or a sports fan (i realize that is a big thing there), gave that up years ago, and as far as blue collar, grew up blue collar, AND, I don't go the way of men, not my cup of tea... women are, and have made headway into LGBT community there which is thriving beknownst to others who may refuse to see it or are bigot. Their problem, not mine.
My last shot before returning to major house organizing... Given this info, Boulder is definitely your place! As you may have discovered, there's a huge LGBT presence in both Denver and Boulder (my middle stepson is heavily involved in the Denver gay community; on the other hand, the younger one is a lap dance afficionado -- something for everybody). I think this area is the most gay-friendly of any between both coasts; more than Ann Arbor MI even. With your alt energy interests and all else, you should have a great time here. I wish you godspeed and hope you find everything you are looking for!
Original Message
Considering a move to Denver, Southwest near the foothills. Any thoughts from others who have moved from NY or elsewhere to Denver, or lifetime Denver resident comments welcome.
If you moved there from NY, are you going to stay since you love it so much?
If you moved to Denver from somewhere else, do you want to stay?
Or, are you in NY or elsewhere and want to get out of Dodge and are moving to Denver as well?
thx.
