It fuzzes out societies static ideas of good and evil and helps you see things for what they are. Of course religions hate that, because they're attached to a static idea of what is good and bad.
The problem is that if you continue to smoke it, you won't be able to make a decision for yourself what is good and evil either, for yourself or others. You'll just stay in that fuzzy state...
"duh, gee, I don't care, I'll just get high, don't make me decide anything"
So it's not so black and white whether Ganja is good or evil - it's neither - it's ternary fuzzy logic dialectic transcending shit, or something like that. Good to cop an outside view every once in awhile, which you could do by just going out into nature, (some of us don't have time for that, hence the ganj) but also good to come back and apply yourself after you've seen things for what they are.
That's my current take on it, which could of course change next time I get high.
