[quote:Anonymous Coward 716964:MV84MzAxNDFfMTI4NTE0MTBfQTMwRjRBNUQ=] [quote:hardboiledheretic] Same problem with me this year. Tons of blooms but no signs of veggies. I started by seed and planted quite few. Hmmm..I'm in NE Ohio, where are you? Probably close by I think. When I started gardening as a young person, everything grew great and too much. Now 20 years later, it's hit and miss, despite my best efforts. Because I've moved so much (but still in the same area), I blame it on soil conditions, or lack of sunlight, but I have to wonder if it isn't the damn GM plants we buy at the garden center that are already fucked up. I don't know, just throwing this out there. But AC you started yours from seeds. Maybe the sun is in the wrong place. lol j/k
I grew up in NE OH but live in MO currently. The problem could be the lack of sun for my plants. I tired to use every square inch of soil I had availble this year and these plants are next to a wild rose bush. My cucumbers on the other hand are doing fabulous.
Original Message
I've got this beautiful zucchini plant growing and exploding with flowers but I noticed some are falling off and no veggie is growing.
Do I need more than one for the pollination factor?
It's not my favorite veggie but my mom gave me one to grow for her, and she has one too and the same thing is happening.
Thanks!
