We've established The Shuttle has risen to 1,043.615 miles up above The Earth and reached a top speed of 17,000 MPH on a 78 degree pitch.
Thread: PINOCCHIO NASA: "SHUTTLE ORBITS 240 MILES UP" -- LIES!!! LIES!!! LIES!!! NOTHING BUT FAWKIN LIES!!! (((LIARS)))

The Shuttle maintains the 78 degree-pitch until external tank separation whereby top speed of 17,000 mph are clocked. After the first 180 degree-roll early into the launch The Shuttle makes another 180 degrees at 7:50 and is now seen sitting placidly upon The Tank, and at the 8:28 video-marker once the roll is completed you will still see The Shuttle rise in altitude during her 78 degrees trajectory above the roundness of The Earth seen at the wing tail of The Shuttle gaining more and more height as The Shuttle reaches top speed and at the 10:44 video-marker The Shuttle separates with the external tank and thereupon goes completely VERTICAL.

What we must now figure out is when the main engine cut-off occurs and The Tank separates with The Shuttle whereby it is seen going vertical with great momentum and little resistance due to very very thin air is how much more distance does The Shuttle obtain before true Atmospheric ejection is attained. The Tank falls back to Earth so at that point they are both still inside The Atmosphere and both remain projected forward with that momentum of 17,000 mph, only The Shuttle is now vertical at 90 degrees and The Tank remain at the 78 degree-pitch, meaning, The Tank gets close to Atmospheric ejection but the pitch-degree angle secures its eventual descent back to Earth.

For this we will calculate the force of gravity rate of free fall. All objects regardless of their mass fall at the same rate, that rate is 32 feet per second/per second. That means that an object, at rest, speed zero, at the start, will be traveling at 32 feet per second if allowed to fall for one second. If it is allowed to fall for another second, it will add 32 feet per second to its speed in that second. This continues in the same way with each passing second until terminal velocity. As the object falls, it picks up speed. The increase in speed leads to an increase in the amount of air resistance due to denser air nearer to the surface then when higher above. Eventually, the force of air resistance becomes large enough to balances the force of gravity. At this instant in time, the net force is 0 Newtons; the object will stop accelerating. The object is said to have reached a terminal velocity.

The Shuttle isn't at rest and its velocity during separation is 17,000 MPH with a very thin environment to offer resistance, thus, we will apply only the force of gravity per second to that velocity for now.

1 miles = 5280 feet -- 17,000 mph (x) 5280 ft = 89,760,000 ft/hr The Shuttle travels.

89,760,000 ft/hr (~) 60 min (~) 60 sec = 24,933.333 ft/sec The Shuttle travels at separation with external tank.

24,933.333 ft/sec (~) 32 feet-per-second/Gravity = 779.1666 seconds pass before The Shuttle reaches ZERO ft/sec.

The average speed between 24,933.333 ft/sec and ZERO ft/sec is 12,466.6665 ft/sec.

12,466.6665 ft/sec (x) 779.1666 seconds = 9,713,610.15 ft The Shuttle traveled from Tank separation until Gravity stopped that momentum (~) 5280 ft conversion-into-miles = 1,839.6988 miles traveled in addition to the 1,043.615 miles already obtained before separation equating to 2,883.3138 miles high above The Earth and outside of The Atmosphere.

But there is still air resistance to be factored in, only there is no way of knowing how thin the air is during separation with the external tank up until Gravity slows The Shuttle to ZERO velocity wherewith the mathematical factor to apply. And knowing that commercial airliners fly 6.5 miles above the surface for efficiency due to thinner air and less resistance therewith. Still some resistance is present but the data for such calculations are withheld for the time being by NASA and their governement for they are clearly hiding much.

Wilbur Glenn Voliva in an 1932 interview declared that the sun was only three thousand miles away (although his map depicts 4000 miles), and only thirty-two miles in diameter (that's why The Shuttle opens the cargo bay doors once in the outer spaces -- HOT). When asked why he thought the sun so near the earth, he said, "GOD made the sun to light the earth, and therefore must have placed it close to the task it was designed to do.

I know Heaven works on the metric system and contend with Wilbur that with some loss due to incalculable air resistance subtracted from the tally amounted thus far and then converted to kilometers, 4000 km is my call. Whatever you choose to believe, know this, the altitude NASA says The Shuttle attains is b/s, and what NASA calls orbit is a lie, The Shuttle was designed to Glide.

Thread: The Shuttle doesn't ORBIT on the Atmosphere -- It GLIDES like a boat on water.

Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha, 32 feet-per-second/per second, ha,ha,ha,ha, that's funny!!!
