[quote:Anonymous Coward 842662:MV85NDE3MjdfMTQ5MDM3NTJfRUE3ODQ2MDE=] Too bad James Cameron "borrowed" an entire race from the Native Americans. He just made them a little bigger and blue. So much for a freakin visionary. Saw the movie and thought it was pretty gay. [/quote]

From the time James Cameron announced he was taking on Avatar the developing and refining of CGI and 3-D and taking it to another level, I’ve been waiting in high anticipation for the general storyline to come out and hear what I hoped would be an extraordinary story, visual delight and film.
That all came crashing down as some of the talk out of Comic-Con is when he unveiled 25 minutes of the footage and talked the storyline up, it sounds like he’s made a huge mistake and is wasting the approximate $200 million in production costs related to the project.
So far the reports are that it’s going to be a capitalist-bashing, environmental propaganda film on the greedy old capitalists ruining the poor people called ‘Na’Vi,’ and so, get this, a botanist is evidently the hero of the story, who recruits a team of humans who enter the world of Pandora where the Navi live and save the planet and plants. Wow, what an original story. Sounds like a socialist and Democrat-backed film wet dream.
