I received an e-mail from someone who was appalled by the news article seen below. Rosie Howlett (tel. 913-573-6750) of the Unified Government Health Department.of Wyandotte County, Kansas, said that she is working hand in glove with the sell-out administration of the Wyandotte High School (Principal: Walter Thompson, 913-627-7650) to force kids there to get their "required vaccinations" or be suspended from school.
After reading the mind boggling pro-pharma propaganda at the Health Department's web site, I can see how such warped hubris and unconstitutional arrogance came into play. These people make the WHO and CDC Big Pharma propagandists sound like vaccine opponents! Apparently, pharmaceutical vaccines are the greatest thing to ever happen to mankind and those parents who who refuse to have their kids injected with the blessed elixir need to feel the sting of Officialdom's ire.
I guess Rosie Howlett and her boss, Health Dept. director, Joseph M. Connor (a Big Pharma shill if I ever read one), never heard of the US constitutional guarantee of SELF DETERMINATION in matters of health, never heard of the concept of neurological damage from vaccinations; never heard of Desiree Jennings, never heard about death from anaphylactic shock via vaccinations, never heard of the utter ineffectiveness of vaccines, and have no idea of the relation between vaccinations and the proliferation of chronic disease in later life and the sterilization of young females. I guess these two Whiz Kids also never read about the Swine Flue Hoax and the role that our government and the World Homicide Organization (and the CIA) played in CREATING that Swine flu hoax.
I can only hope that some of these parents who are aware of the dangers of vaccines and have the good sense to challenge these neo-Nazi "health" officials, will bring legal action against these damnable bureaucrats and their outrageous assaults upon the rights of these parents and their children. Has the Kansas state legislature eliminated the state's vaccine exemption form? If not, then upon what legal footing does the Unified Government Health Department stop a child from attending school based on a non-willingness to be vaccinated when opting out of vaccinations is allowed under state law in every state of this country?

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Kansas City, Kan., school officials said hundreds of kids face suspension if they don't get their required immunizations.
Now, the district is making a massive effort to get all their students their required vaccinations. The district failed to meet its Nov. 1 vaccination deadline and is now embarking on an effort to get the students immunized with a clinic at Wyandotte High School on Wednesday.
The district said, on average, that it suspends more than 300 students, mostly because they didn't get the required booster shots. That number is expected to decrease dramatically thanks to a partnership between community groups, the school district and the Unified Government Health Department.
"Despite repeated efforts on the schools' part to get parents to get their students in for immunization at their private providers or clinics, there still remain a large number who have not fulfilled those requirements for school," said Rosie Howlett, from the Unified Government Health Department. "We're working on the long term -- the long view of this approach in terms of, 'How do we rectify. How do we avoid this in the future?'"
The temporary solution involves bus transportation for forty students from Wyandotte High School to the health department to catch the students up on vaccinations. The district plans to provide transportation for another six schools after winter break.
The vaccinations will be free to students. Community groups have stepped forward to pay the $30 per person cost. The total bill is expected to be in the thousands of dollars.
Walk-in times are also available at the UG Health Department. The clinic times will be: Monday through Wednesday and on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 11a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Get Ready: New Vaccinations Required for 2009-2010 Kansas School Year
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is requiring new vaccination requirements for students in preschool through ninth grade for the 2009-2010 school year. In 2010, there will be new requirements for all students.
“The need for vaccination coverage, based on the disease outbreaks that we’ve had, overrode the need to gradually phase in requirements,” said Sue Bowden, director of KDHE immunization program.
While these are new requirements for students to attend school, they have been recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for years, and most doctors and health professionals have been following them.
They new immunization requirements are:
• Kindergartners need two doses of the varicella, or chickenpox, vaccine instead of one.
• Students in sixth through ninth grades need one dose of varicella vaccine. This wasn’t required last year. If a student has had chickenpox disease, the school needs documentation from a licensed physician, not just a parent. If the school already has documentation from a parent, that is acceptable.
• Students in sixth through ninth grades need three doses of hepatitis B; it wasn’t required last year.
• Eleven-year-old children need a diphtheria-tetanus-acellular pertussis (Tdap) booster. That wasn’t required last year. The guidance is those students with birthdates from 09/01/1997 to 08/31/1998, and who will be 11 years old prior to September 1, 2009, will be required to have documentation of Tdap, if it has been more than 2 years since the previous dose of Td/DTaP/DT. Students older than 12 years of age needing a booster because it has been 10 years since the previous Td/DTaP/DT also require Tdap.
“School nurses are notifying parents about what immunizations their children might need,” according to Melanie Vogts, Nurse Supervisor for Child Health at Unified Government Public Health Department. “We strongly recommend that parents not wait until school is about to start before bringing their children in for vaccines.”
Students who are fully insured are encouraged to stay within their healthcare network for immunizations. For those students who do not have private health insurance, or whose insurance does not cover immunization costs, the Unified Government Public Health Department can help. They have access to the federal Vaccines for Children program, which provides immunizations for free for those who qualify. The health department does charge an administration fee, but does not deny services based on the ability to pay, and is willing to work with parents.

H1N1 influenza is a serious health concern. The United States and its many regional public health entities and organizations have been gearing up and planning for the impact of this pandemic since its identification in the spring of 2009.
The Unified Government Public Health Department has provided a group of key recommendations as we move into the fall and anticipate an increase in H1N1 cases. These key recommendations include:
* Be alert to signs and symptoms of illness - Fever greater than 100 degrees; Body aches; Coughing; Sore throat; Respiratory congestion; In some cases, diarrhea and vomiting
* Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer to get rid of most germs and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
* Stay home when you are sick to avoid spreading illness to co-workers and friends.
* Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue and properly dispose of used tissues.
* Stay healthy by eating a balanced diet, drinking plenty of water and getting adequate rest and exercise.
* Get a “Flu Shot” – most everyone over the age of 6 months should get both a “seasonal flu shot” and an “H1N1 flu shot” this year – “seasonal flu shots” are available now and “H1N1 flu shots” will be available in the near future.
