In the north of the peninsula strong gust have already been noticed, and in Vitoria, there have been incidents of people being injured by debris falling from houses. The Interior Department of the Basque Government yesterday ordered a red alert for tomorrow and Sunday due to the possibility of strong winds, especially in Alava, which could exceed 140 kilometres per hour.
