And we won the most total medals. We owned the podium.

But do you see even one thread bragging about that? Instead we get a dozen or so from Canadians on their own hockey win.

It was a good game - and congrats to Canada -- But i must say Hockey is so much of a bigger Deal in Canada than in the U.S. I am happy for Canada - but if the U.S. had won - it would be like Ho Hum - who really gives a shit. Bring back football

I was in a pub, then on the back of a bike down the highway at 140 K, rocking in the free world and got home to watch the end in front of my 50" screen. So my reply is late because I am hooping it up YO I am here living in the moment!

Lots of hockey fans here, and it was a huge game, for both sides of the border. Think of it as Canada getting their own "Miracle on Ice" (american win vs russia in the same gold hockey game, years ago).

So yea, expect us to be happy :p

And yes, you have the record of most olympic medals at the winter games, I believe TV just said, so congrats on that. We got most golds, you got most total medals - 2 records: North America kicks the world's ass ;)

I'm from U.S. so was for them. But I'm kind of glad you won instead of European, Asian, etc. country. You're our neighbors and both teams played a kick-ass game.

So I'm going to infringe on a bit of your glory being it's all North America and all. Do you mind?

Exactly, many of the players on the Canadian and USA teams play in the opposing country's canadian or american NHL league teams, so essentially they are both of our teams at the same time heh

Apparently Toronto shut down large parts of it's downtown due to the celebrating masses heh

So Glad Canada beat Satan US and we won Gold. Unbeleviable downtown in Van and in Toronto already celerabation. We salate to Terry Fox, who inspire for all Canada.
