It doesn't bear thinking about. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 904835Well, that is one of the reasons I am asking this question. I live near a major prison and there are more not to far away.....Do they let them go, shoot-em, keep-em or what? I do know they have been letting out quite a few non violent offenders lately because of budget problems...... Last Edited by teamster on 03/02/2010 01:28 PM . nomind User ID: 904314 Canada 03/02/2010 01:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think it depends on the local situation and people involved. Perhaps in some places the guards won't give a fuck and just leave all the prisoners locked into their cells, in which case they will probably all die. In some other places perhaps the guards are a bit more humanitarian, and will allow the prisoners to live, either by maintaining the prison's status quo, or just letting em go. Probably the really dangerous ones will be kept locked and die, while the petty thieves and white collar crime types will get to walk My Interesting Karma messages: - "You are an idiot. This post proves it." -"GLP MEMBERS BEWARE!!! THIS IS A GOVERNMENT SHILL." - Most moranic one given to me: When you type ".." you need to put three dots instead of two. Anonymous Coward User ID: 894566 United States 03/02/2010 01:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | George Carlin did a good bit about how when the SHTF and the power goes out, the prisoners will be out and about and ready to make lots of new friends. . . The US is the biggest prison nation on the planet, of course we have tons of extra money to pay to lock all these "criminals" up (oh that's right, we're almost broke and now have insurmountable debt at all levels), of which an absurd percentage is people busted for small-time drug crimes. Zero tolerance means we're too stupid to discriminate between murderers/rapists and some poor fool caught with too much weed on him. But yeah, when the the shit truly does hit the fan, the power goes out and the guards aren't getting paid, it will be everybody for themselves, including the prisoners. Expect to see them on a street near you, hungry, pissed and looking for some nice women. . . |

I know back in the day there were several in boot that had a choice to join or go to jail, but straight from prison to the military? I can see prisoners escaping during a major earthquake but being left to drown because of a hurricane? Really? Did that happen during Katrina? . Quoting: Anonymous Coward 905053The inmates ate each other. In the short version. The long version is best. Don't remember if "The Kid" was in both, or just the long version. He freaked me out. Larry scored with a bunch more chicks in the long version. The movie didn't touch on any of the sexual slavery. |
