The golden rule for cell phone usage is not disturb others. Although most people have cell phones, they do not know proper cell phone etiquette.
Remember that you don't need to shout to be heard on your cell phone. If you are in a noisy area, it is better to exit and go to a quieter area than to yell over the crowd. Similarly, turn down the ringer on your phone so that it does not disturb others in public places.
