I bought the book "The 150 Healthiest Foods"
The book is not hard to find, and is pretty recent. It's essentially a one-page-per-food book; each offering factual (supported with citations from journals...etc.) insight that goes beyond conventional wisdom. The pages are glossy, the pics of the foods are high-def, and it is categorized. Ill find a link and post it here. Most will find this boring, but it is imho the best of the best of this kind of book.
I'm only telling you guys this because, despite all the crappy role-playing threads on here, there are a few threads that I have found to be worth more than gold (knowledge is more precious) and I figured I at least try to return the favor.

Look, I'm creating this thread from my cell and in bed. I apologize for the lack of detail. I'll add some more in the a.m. when I'm at my desk.

Also, (yes, I am aware that I'm all over the place here, but I'm excited to share this) I am a true Barnes & Noble junkie (B&N is a great bookstore in my area...probably a national chain.) and I am serious when I say that the book "The 150 Healthiest Foods" by Johnny Bowden is so frickin' informative it's crazy.

I'll snap a pic of the cover and attach it if someone tells me how.

LOL! I must have been in AU too long now (ex-pat). When I read your post - I thought you meant jail cell when you said that. Then I remembered that only in the USA is a mobile called a cell! LOL!

Anyway... thanks for that. I will look it up locally.

All of the chronic diseases we suffer are lack of nutrition diseases. Trans fat does not allow the healthy food to be absorbed into the body. IT TAKES A YEAR FOR YOUR BODY TO REPAIR IT SELF AFTER YOU QUIT EATING TRANS FAT.

I looked up the book on Amazon and the same author has "The 150 Healthiest Dinners". I added both to my wish list, thanks for the suggestion, they look good, and have pretty good reviews.

I was thinking the same thing. Didn't think of cell PHONE till you brought it up. I was thinking, how nice to allow reading books and posting to internet from jail.
