How does HAARP cause earthquakes? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 914762 ![]() 03/13/2010 01:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | HAARP can't cause a shiver much less an earthquake. I suspect that if you could turn all the power in that gadget to the highest possible level and aimed it right at the ground beneath it...even at that close range and with all its power it wouldn't cause even the slightest quiver in the ground. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 912885 ![]() 03/13/2010 01:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have asked his question in other threads and have gotten no real responses. I have been insulted and cursed at but no one can answer the question so, how does HAARP cause earthquakes? Quoting: voice of reason 904552Lame youtube videos and websites that say nothing are not what I am looking for. Can anyone supply actual scientific reasons? Here are some questions to ponder while thinking of answers. 1) HAARPs total radiated power is 3.6 megawatts at most. There are losses in propogation. How much energy would reach a target thousands of miles away? 2) HAARP points straight up. How does it "hit" a target thousands of miles away? 3) How big of an area does the beam cover when it reaches the target area? 4) Supposing the beam does reach the target area, then what? What does that energy do next? How long does HAARP have to stay on a target before it causes an earthquake? 5 minutes, 10 minutes, an hour? How long? And what does that energy do? 5) How does anyone know where to point the beam? In otherwords, how do we know when an earthquake is about to occur? 6) How much energy does it take to cause an earthquake? 7) When I look at the HAARP data I find that HAARP was not event transmitting the days of the Chile and Haiti earthquakes. So how did it do anything? Does anyone have a response? I am looking for scientific journal articles and verifiable data. Again, nothing from youtube and nothing about Tesla's earthquake machine. That is just bogus. HAARP was created and aloud to be blamed for the reason of EQ's, Instead of admitting that billions will die from approaching sun's twin dwarf star. Yes, Billions are going to die from this event! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 914737ya but i dont think its that thorough How thorough can it be. There isn't that much at the facility. Look at the photos. It is the antenna farm, generators, a couple of trailers, and a control building. |

People are claiming to know something they don't. HAARP was orginally a new radar-like system for things like subs, so they could remain undetectable. It was a failure, because they blew 2 holes in the atmosphere. It is theorized that they are still using it for one reason or another, but it can't cause earthquakes, volcano eruptions, explosions, natural disasters or Obama's election. People saying that it does have no idea what it was orginally used for. |

They point the waves up at the atmosphere which BOUNCES off and back down into the earth. Now these waves have such a low frequency, like the "boom" sound from the bass in music, you can actually feel the vibrations. Now consider the amount of power HAARP uses, when those vibrations hit the earth, it resonates the earth and can disrupt fault lines causing earthquakes. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 731237Now consider the amount of power HAARP uses, when those vibrations hit the earth, it resonates the earth and can disrupt fault lines causing earthquakes. You're full of shit. It was actually radiation. Completely unable to produce vibrations of any noticable strength. To make such a machine would require all of the power plants on the east coast, and probably a nuclear power plant in the central states as well. The waves reflect, "bouncing" does not mean they are like a rock into a pond. They are like light. |

How do you know this? First hand knowledge? Heard it from someone else? "Common sense"? Doctor of physical science? Work at haarp? Regardless of your answer, I dont KNOW you from adam. Im not a doctor of physics. I realize common sense and science dont always mesh. I dont have first hand knowledge of 'feeling the vibrations from haarp. You said you "I" could feel them. I've never felt them. You see, I dont know anything. I wager you dont either. |

If it emits strong enough frequencies to blow holes in the atmosphere what else can it do with such frequencies and what other harm can such frequencies cause? Would you trust information given on a tour? I wouldn't. Regardless of what they use haarp for, humans continuing to tamper with nature is a sad mistake!! I've been on the ships that do this type of work, and it's pretty cool. Quick Google : [link to tea.armadaproject.org] |

Those antennae also amplify the power output by probably 20-30db .. every time you go down 3 db the power output doubles. So double the output of the actual power put into it 10 times. We are talking a billion watts here. |
