Well, we've handed our treasury over to Halliburton, liberated Iraq until it became a smoking hole in the ground, generated the funniest demonstrators since the anti-nuke crown (Teabaggers), ruined auto racing (NASCAR), and - as a nation - scoured ourselves of that national curse "a sense of humor".

But at least we're not Norwegian.
