Why does the sun/Spring depress me?

I dont really let the sun keep me from going outside, I just get anxious when it starts getting nice. When I was in the Persian Gulf the combination of intense heat,bullets and the thought of blood made me sick.

Lets just say I never got in any sticky situations over there, but the combination of those things made sick. You have NO IDEA what those guys go through over there. My friend is a veteran and he hates the sun like me.

You kind of answered your own question.

You have what you consider to be bad memories associated with the sun/spring.

Perhaps if you could let go of that association you would be free to experience spring in a less bias fashion?

The feeling of the sun kind of initiates the feeling. It gets better as the season carries on. But when I first go outside I jump at loud noises and I feel like everyone is looking at me.

I wish I shared your enthuisiasm, I spent last summer jogging in my military boots. 4 to 6 hours every Saturday and Sunday, it made me feel better.
