Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | But neither is it very anomalous... yet. Gee, letīs do the typical woo-woo "jump up and down screaming and yelling and carrying on about this being due to manīs evil ways" dance... ...before all of the scientific facts are in. You people are ridiculous, but then again, youīre probably all 16 years old too. In which case... youīll have a valid excuse for being clueless. |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "I have never seen such a thing," said veterinarian Otto Horst. 14076 Heīs a vet...whatīs your credentials, BOOB?! -------- Iīm a civil engineer. And just because dear old Otto hasnīt seen such a thing before... ...proves exactly nothing, boob. I may not understand exploding frogs, but... I never claimed to. All I said (clean the wax out of your ears) is that we need to wait for some SCIENTIFIC results to come in on this. Until then... whether it is "Dr. Otto", the world famous frog veterinarian (LOL) or you, speculating about the normalcy of this... ITīS ALL JUST GIBBERISH. If GLP is good for one thing... it is gibberish. |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No, you said "But neither is it very anomalous... yet." 1 : inconsistent with or deviating from what is usual, normal, or expected : IRREGULAR, UNUSUAL So in other words you think it is NOT very unusual. For a civil Engineer i suppose you see this shit everyday then. |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | *sigh* If you want to get technical with my use of verbiage, then yes, you may have succeeded in pointing out an apparent contradiction in my words. Happy now? Did I make your day? :-) But... what I MEANT when I used the world "anomalous" is that we cannot be sure this is anything unexplainable by conventional science. No, it is not "normal" for frogs to explode. Not that I know of anyway. Therefore, according to the definition you provided, it is anomalous. But if science can spend a month studying the frogs and come up with a "natural" explanation for what is happening, then it will NOT be anomalous - but rather, it may just be a rare set of confluent circumstances that caused this. And in that sense, it would no longer be anomalous - just "rare". That is what I meant to say. Thanks for making me waste MORE time on this pointless (as of now) subject... ;-) |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to morgenpost.berlin1.de] According to a veterinary, crows picked on the toads precisely at their side to eat the liver. As toads pump themselves up when in panic, that then lead to their explosion. |
