Voters of the nation are, in general, christian ignoramuses. So yeah, the voters of the nation think that a group who is led by self professed christians speak the truth.

The problem is that the tea party people wouldnt know a fact if you threw it at them. This is evident in their stance on obama and taxes. They claim that he raised everyone's taxes, when in reality, shortly after getting into office, most everyone got a tax CUT.

These people are intellectual black holes.
