My kitteh threw up on my head once....I sweat I saw him sticking his paw down his throat just before he sploded.....

It's from licking themselves and getting hairballs.

Put a few drops of olive oil in the cats food OP, it will stop post of the puking.

Also get a slicker brush and use it on the cat regularly... the excess hair is caught by the brush and not in the cat's gut. Cats love to be brushed and you might enjoy the process yourself.

Yeah, olive oil is good.

I give her just a little bit of hemp oil usually.

For some reason, it brings up the hairball without anything else. She was sitting on the couch next to me and just like hiccupped and it came right up like - ploop!

I just haven't done it for a couple of weeks and am paying the price. It's supposed to be really good for them also. She's almost 15 and when I give it to her regularly, she acts like a kitten and the shine on her coat comes back.

My fault, but cheesh!!!

Everything? That's kinda hard to believe since it's usually a teaspoon...

This is why mine are outside! Not only will they gak up hairballs, but they'll puke their own food, and sometimes a partly digested mouse. I had my share of stepping on mushy mice when my cats had a cat door. No thanks. Kids make enough of a mess!

Yes, EVERYTHING!!!!!!! It's what happens when I don't grab her in time and make it to the kitchen. She just spews ... like Old Faithful or something. And each gak she moves to another part of the rug!!! So it's here .... and there ... and over there .... and ...

Stepping on it is fun. It's why I turn the lights on if I do have to pee. Plus I may step on her as she sprawls anywhere she freakin' feels like it. Usually right in the doorway. Or half-on and half-off her little sherpa bed. Uses the rim for a pillow. God, she has such a cushy life and all I ask is that she throw-up on the linoleum or tile!!!

Since I'm in NYC, no mice gaks. That must be disgusting, but I'm sure she would if she could.

And she's never puked on my head yet. I'm sure she'll catch me laying down some day, but so far she hasn't timed it right.
