CuriousNature (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Sounds like some kind of rave party where they all take elicid drugs and have group sex." I was kind of thinking it may be along those lines... someone looking for pretty little blonde girls to dance around the fire naked and... I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do... So I leave it up to you... |
daleth (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | More information here: [link to www.welcomehome.org] They had a gathering where I live a couple years ago. I didnīt go, but they seemed to attract a lot of the local young hippie wannabes. The core group from what I read is Earth-based and back-to-nature. I wouldnīt let my daughter go if she wanted to, but thatīs just me. I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do... So I leave it up to you... |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Itīs whatever they want it to be. Probably not a good idea to accept the invitation. On a lighter note, I heard about this small town in the Bible Belt that was having a festival of some sort. They were offered a bunch of rainbow banners for free to display during the festival. On festival day, rainbow flags were everwhere. A tourist passing through commented to one of the natives that they were surprised to see the flags, since small towns werenīt usually so accepting of homosexuals. |
IAM (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In the UK we have rainbow camps and gatherings. If my daughter wanted to go Id say fine as long as you tag along with me HAHA Put on your beautiful coloured glad rags and dance on down to the tribe I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do... So I leave it up to you... |

If that was an invitation to a righteous rainbow gathering, you are quite blessed! Though I have never attended myself, I have heard many a wondrous tale! I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do... So I leave it up to you... |

CuriousNature (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WOW! I didnīt expect to get so many replies so quickly. Thanks so much! My daughter is not going (funny thing is, it didnīt have a date, but she wouldnīt be going anyway) she rarely does anything without our permission first, sheīs a good kid. What strikes me odd though is, if this is a hippie gathering, why pick her? She doesnīt really look any different than the average teenage girls you see everywhere... she doesnīt really give the īhippieī appearance that some do. Hmmmm guess I just donīt get it. I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do... So I leave it up to you... |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Rainbow Family of Living Light Unofficial Home Page Some say weīre the largest non-organization of non-members in the world. We have no leaders, and no organization. To be honest, the Rainbow Family means different things to different people. I think itīs safe to say weīre into intentional community building, non-violence, and alternative lifestyles. We also believe that Peace and Love are a great thing, and there isnīt enough of that in this world. Many of our traditions are based on Native American traditions, and we have a strong orientation to take care of the the Earth. We gather in the National Forests yearly to pray for peace on this planet. [link to www.welcomehome.org] |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Rainbow Girls are affiliated with Masonic Lodges. The are like the girlsī junior auxilliary so to speak of the Masons. Membership is usually made up of the Lodge membersī daughters and their friends. DeMolay is the equivalent organization for young men and Eastern Star for wives and mothers. This doesnīt quite sound like a Rainbow Girlsī meeting your daughter got invited to. ;) |

sad sad (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "gathering under a rainbow" is an MK tool of suggestion. Beta programming wickedly concocting innocent nympho soldiers. And DeMolay...for young mens groups?... Come on...people are nothing more than hamsters at this point. TThis little g-rated version is just perfect for the idiots of this planet..Both the ones IN THE KNOW and the ones who dont know shit. [link to www.demolay.org] Better think more than twice about letting your children get involved with boy scouts or girl scouts....church groups as well. The more rabid your denial of this the more likely it has already affected your family. I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do... So I leave it up to you... |
loveinchrist (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Iīve been to a Rainbow Gathering, thereīs nothing evil about them. Just a bunch of people getting together to celebrate life. Bunch of hippies playing drums and dancing. Good time, actually. I recommend it. I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do... So I leave it up to you... |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | creepy cult origins- started with the Family of Love (or whatever - everyone was "Brother Love" of some sort)- then the mind control, illicit sex and then...deliver the kid into more sinister hands. I got this info from many many books- no firsthand experience except for a local īrainbowī group that held gatherings outside of town. Oh did the hippies flock. Ritual magic, tons of hallucinogens- setting the kids up...Fortunately the īleaderī got busted for traffiking huge amounts of drugs (and turns out to be an old friend of Chucky Manson) WHOOPS remain vigilant for these cult creeps- they have ties all the way to the top! |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, the Order of DeMolay, the young menīs group affiliated with Masonry, takes its name from Jacques DeMolay and much of the ritual is inspired by a rather Victorian and overtly theatrical interpretation of the history of the Templars. In fact, the DeMolay initiation ceremony in part re-enacts his immolation, but now Iīm talking about things I took a blood oath never to reveal. |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Remember that rainbow broach that Janet Jackson had on when she had her "accident" that is leading to more preplanned censorship of the alternative media. Well I hope that the flyer wasnīt from the masonic NWO group that uses that symbol.~~~~~~ Heard that the hippie rainbow group has some great times. Hiked six miles into one of their former campgrounds. It was spic & span clean!!! Any group that will hike in six miles and pack out every speck of trash is A O.K. in my book!!! |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Watch out for the rainbow boogy man... You might have fun! You might learn that you can have your feet on the ground AND your head in the clouds. You might learn that you can be in community while being fully yourself, and be accepted for it. You might learn that those other human beings really ARE your brothers and sisters in Christ. You might learn to feel AT HOME in a way you may not have experienced since you were a child, or maybe have never experienced at all. When you are ready for it...Welcome Home! |
Nerak (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The one I heard about sounded more family oriented. Fishing, camping, old metal and wood working tech, classes on weather and season changes herbal medicine and yes there is more than one herb for your ills ,lol. Sounded ok for a family type thing. Could have been dancing around a camp fire naked but I didnīt see that listed. I'd love to change the world, but I don't know what to do... So I leave it up to you... |
