One kiloton bomb explodes at Disney World

The Florida Highway Patrol told MyFoxOrlando.com that a bomb detonated near the park's Fort Wilderness Resort shortly before 2 p.m. Many are assumed to be dead, or in critical condition.

Montes said there was ample evidence that a small scale nuclear device has detonated, a 'mushroom' cloud has been spotted.

"We believe it's one kiloton device and expect a large amount of fatalities," Montes said.

The bomb was not immediately identified, but authorities said it may have been from Iran.


"We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the families and loved ones for their loss," Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger said in a statement. "We are currently providing the necessary resources and care to help the injured in this situation."
