I've been digging around for days to try to find out WHO this guy is - apart from a claim to be a 'London metals trader'.

What's his background? Where has he worked?

How do we know it's not HE who is the fraud here?

GATA is funded by mining companies. And if you don't think mining companies are a crooked bunch you haven't read much history.

I think in this case if there was anything substantial it would have been more widely reported.

I used to work in the financial news. GATA press releases were always considered SPAM.

Gata has been put together by smart individuals who have a lot of experience and know the precious metals markets very well, and are invested in it.

They know scams when they see them.

And since they are also invested in precious metals, they are even that much more alerted to the criminal scams that the crooks in the government, and their partners in the financial industry have been doing, and have been allowed to get away with by the people who's job it is to stop criminal activity.
