Older Floyder (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anytime you have more than one rooster in close quarters the inevitable "pissing match" will occur. The ear plugs for you is a good idea, better yet, just get used to it, and be glad he is not raising Peafowl (peacocks) and guinea hens. hehehe my brain has a belly ache |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You can tell if they have been fighting by looking at their combs (on top of head) and wattles (under beak) to see if they are bloodied. Also look at their legs for wounds. I have a one-eyed one from a time when I wasnīt there to stop them. He got in with my breedibng rooster. If he keeps them together, the cocks will fight, no doubt about it. Mine will spar, but, if I tell them to stop, they do. |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Any suggestions on infiltrating a cockfighting ring? In my area there is a lot of dog fighting. Nasty business. The cops could never catch them until one went undercover. Then they nailed the dirty SOBs. Maybe you could show an interest and infiltrate the ring, if there is one. Be careful and good luck. |
Dred (OP) 12/08/2005 10:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks 2817, Iīm not really serious about "infiltrating the ring", but I am fairly certain thatīs what heīs breeding them for. Itīs a shame, I really donīt have a problem with roosters, but this guy has about 20 of them , and they are constantly going berserk. If it was only a couple of them, it wouldnīt bother me at all. I do live in a very rural area, and barnyard sounds are part of the allure. my brain has a belly ache |
