And here was me thinking that in the old days people were small unhealthy and had rotten teeth. (no smart comments from you yanks please) The guy doesn't look any different from most blokes from Yorkshire today. They ate an organic diet with no sugar, white flour, or a thousand other things that cause tooth decay. And they probably had a knowledge of local herbs that killed infections. Probably healthier than the average person today. |
