Peru is a VERY dangerous country. Learn to speak Spanish. Stay in a group. Be very careful of taxis outside out airports. Get a good flashlight and an executive ice scraper and carry them at all times. Do not take pictures of the military or law enforcement. I have spent lots of time in Peru. It is a wonderful and beautiful country, but just like any other country, USE your head and stay safe.
