lonely back roads are dangerous. many go missing forever from lonely back roads . good for him. I would do the same in rural lonely areas.

It'll earn him some tough-guy points.

I just hope the story is true.

No human witnesses.

No evidence.

I wouldn't have anything less in a .380....that's not a potent round at all...probably a lightwieght "pocket gun", but apparently it got the job done. Hollow points are very common and not a BFD at all.

I know another right wing type who shoots coyote's who come onto his property.

Another guy I knew used to shoot them from his Taylorcraft cub in West Texas.

I've seen a lot of coyotes, but none of them offended me enough to want to kill them.

Of course if they came after my dog...

I'd love to hunt down there...that's for sure but PA has it's share of rednecks too. Most hunters out of any state. I think we average 3 guns per household if i'm not mistaken???

Hell I thought it was funny. I'm sure there wasn't any "evidence" left. He's just trying to win the "gun rights" vote. And he's certainly got his bases covered.

hollow points are a safety measure

you use them to prevent over penetration and possibly hitting an innocent bystander behind your intended target

What kind of a sissy is he, anyway?

.380 is a friggin girl's gun!

I couldn't abide a governor that packed anything less than a .357 magnum.

A proper Texan only carries a .45!

Formal Texans carry a .40 S&W Hi-Power Browning. Texas ranchers carry whatever it takes... and always more than one.

Maybe it was justified in self defense, I wasn't there, but killing is never something to be proud of.

Killing should be done only if absolutely necessary, and with a sense of compassion and regret.
