The stock market crashed on Black Tuesday, October 29, 1929. American common stocks lost almost 13% of their value that day, which was relatively small when compared to a one-day drop of around 22.5% in 1987. However by the completion of the collapse of the Dow Jones Industrial Average it had fallen from 381 to 257, losing one third of its value before investors rushed back in and started buying again at, what they thought were, bargain basement prices. The buying drove the index up to almost 300 before it started falling again. The Dow reached its final low in 1932 after losing almost 90% of its original value to around 40 on the DJIA.

that would have to be a 50% drop
wont happen

too many safegauds

a 25% drop takes us to near 7500
even that isnt so bad

Oct 28th, 1929 Black Monday
Oct 29th, 1929 Black Tuesday

Both crashes occured on the same lunar cycle, and they both occurred around an eclipse.

This Thursday, Oct 28th, is a total lunar eclipse, it is within 6 weeks of the Solar eclipse of Oct 14, and falls within a potential crash window, which runs from Oct 24th to Nov 1st.

Also, on Oct 28th, right on the lunar eclipse, a Grand Quintile astronomical pattern occurs, the second one i nthe month of October and approx 2000 years since the last occurrence of 2 Grand Quintiles in the same month.

Re: Dow Falling in Early Trade. Today 75th Anniversary of Great Depression Crash.
the only time of the day when there are no trading curbs is from 3:30-4:00pm EST, and until 4:15pm EST for stock index futures. Theoretically, the market could be down 9.99% at 3:30, then fall another 10-15% in 30 minutes of trading. Doubtful, but it COULD happen that way.

A crash is a multi day affair, usually lasting 3-4 trading days....in 1987 it actually began on Oct 5th, and ended on Oct 20th.
