:)...the trees are wonderful...so happy that you can hear them too...not many can these days. ;)

The old trees are truly like a library and with the old ones, I have found that you have to have permission, otherwise, they just remain silent. Now when you think that the trees are rooted deeply into the earth, it's just astounding how far their knowledge can go back, when they tap into the history of the earth. I once placed my hand on Uluru and wow, talk about a time warp, dinosaurs, aliens, stars and eruptions.

You're obviously very sensitive and that is a great gift and a blessing for those around you, now and when things get difficult.

yes they are!!! Living Libraries! :D
I've found them to be wonderful friends as well as sources of valuable information.
It was the trees and plants that told me in 1998 that there was something horribly wrong...sent me on a path searching for information.
Unbelievably, they told me the story about Indians planting corn in snow, and how it would be a sign to watch for.
I'd never been raised around any Native American Indians...but I do carry the blood in me...2 of my Great Grandmothers.
When I got on the internet in 2000, that was the very first thing I looked for...Native American stories about planting corn in the snow..
I found it, very quickly!
The only differance in what the trees told me, and the actual story, is that the trees just said "planting corn in the snow"...the story is about having to "wear fingersacks, to plant corn, because there is still snow on the ground"

Sometimes, I wonder about this sensitivity...is it really a blessing?
Sometimes, I am so sensitive, it truly brings physical pain to me.
I know it is probably like any other pain signal, there to alert you...supposed to be a help, but these days, it sure does make it difficult to function with soooooooooooo much happening, everywhere!
I've often wished I could turn it down a couple of notches...make it more bearable... :P
