And when you get sick, don't expect to sue BP, because out of the thousands who got sick cleaning up the Valdez spill, only ONE person was able to make a valid claim and be compensated for his toxic injury. Bottom line FULL PPE including respirator mininmum and USE IT. Remember they will lie about the effects, they are not their for your best interests. |

I'm more for direct hire and direct pay and no middle man. |

Answered three ads (my husband) and all three contractors said that the State Labor dept gave them the go ahead to start working on getting crews together. However when they tried to actually get a contract, the DOL's said they didn't handle that, only got NOTICE of the jobs. BP is the one doing the hiring. However no contractor can find anyone at BP to do the hiring. There was an article in the Bayou Times the other week called "Where are the clean up jobs?" and it said exactly what those contractors told my husband. |
