When I shut my eyes real tight...

I used to do this when i was younger and my mom told me not to do it or it would ruin my eyesight....I'm still curious myself????

I'm pretty certain when I was a kid this sort of phenomenon used to happen all the time when I closed my eyes - particularly in the mornings. And that was without having to close them real tight. As I got older it stopped happening, though recently, I am trying to crank this up again.

I believe it's your third eye at work.. or trying to at least.

Mundanely it's just the hypnagogic effect. Kinda like compression artifacting when you're watching a movie on your computer.

Odd, i was thinking about posting this for last few days. See if anyone else has this experience.

I have had the same thing happen since as long as i can remember. Fractal patterns and mosaics... usually dynamic and moving. Its circular usually or in form of a cylindrical tunnel viewed from inside. Its all in dull monochromatic color - shades of green, brown, gray, red.

There is one sharp point or small circles in the middle from which all these patterns spring from.

If you press on your eyeballs with your fingers it enhances the quality and speed at which the mosaic moves.

I am too puzzled as to why such clear distinct geometric shapes appear. Maybe there is explanation to this.

I've seen these ever since I can remember. I always try to see if it's the SAME pattern, but have never managed to figure that out. Somehow, it SEEMS like something important...like a clue to something I'm supposed to know. Sometimes I see a dark space with a single point of light that seems to be spiraling away from me...the color of the light isn't always the same, but usually doesn't change during an individual "vision".

I use to that too but when I did it I would say a color I would like to see and it would appear within the fractals. Try it.

try opening your eyes before the visions stop and you will find that you can't see for a few seconds

When I was child, I did that too and saw little purple dots.. I cried and told me mom there were purple bugs in my room.

I used to dream of a third eye in the forehead too!

My higher self tried to help me, but I was too scared.
