yeah we know ,you americans are better than anyone else
on the planet ,so everyone stay out,tell you what,why don't we send everyone to the place our grandfathers came from?

You guys are all missing the point--lets think about this rationally for a minute: there will be at least 12 million US citizens thrown in jail for not buying govt. controlled health insurance (which will effectively fill up all the vacancies in jails/prisons), right? So, these 12 million illegals should all be given amnesty (since they are exempt for buying said insurance) immediately. That way, they can pay the taxes that WE LEGALS are now paying to support more of their own bretheren (who will keep jumping the border en masse.)

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress may be finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that
the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and,

Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

According to the protesters:

You are Required to let me stay in your house.
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan.
You are Required to Educate my kids.

You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family.

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.

Doesn't there seem to be a wiser solution that does not divide people and get them to go at eachother. TPTB know how the mass will respond to anything thrown at them. It's really obvious if you think about it.

Why can't we make it easier to make people leagalized U.S. citizens? Wouldn't it make sense to get those who are not leagalized to pay taxes.

Why can't the states get more involved in a legalizing process?
