We all deal with it as we choose, to a lesser or greater degree.

You want to know why you can't "wake people up"... it's because they're aware on some level that if they admit that all of society is "the game" described above they will become losers.

It's really that simple. Consider this great quote from the movie "The Matrix":

"The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system, and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it."

Thanks to the theory of "the game" I understand those last two sentences now.

People don't want to be losers even if there's no chance to win. Nobody wants to lose therefore they can't admit they're playing the game.

This explanation works with anything inside the societal matrix:

If you admit your religion is fake you lose the game.

If you admit education is fake you lose the game.

If you admit money is fake you lose the game.

Etc. etc.

"Waking people up" means causing people to lose the game.

It takes great courage to be a willing loser of the game.

Several of Michael Douglas' movies show the game in all its horror including "The Game", "The War of the Roses", "Black Rain", and "Wall Street".

Quoting from "The War of the Roses":

"There is no winning, Oliver! There's only degrees of losing!"

"No. I got more square footage."

That's the mentality in a nutshell of those who are addicted to the game, the matrix, the societal womb, whatever you want to call it.

There is no winning all of this but they can't admit it! They want to continue to pretend that somehow they can win...

And thus they'll be biggest losers ever.

It's no easy problem because probably everyone reading this including me is still playing the game.

A real trap is if you leave the game of society and become a monk then you're still playing "the game" of being a monk. Right?

Maybe the only way to leave the game is to stop believing any societal/matrix/religious programming and make your mind up about everything for yourself?

Maybe living an original life where you determine everything (as much as possible) would be leaving "the game"?

But then, would you be playing your own made-up game then?

Consider the following great poem together with the theory of "the game". If you were to explain to any of the characters described (schoolboy, lover, mistress, soldier, etc.) and explain that they were only playing a part in a game that would be causing them to lose their game. Why? Because once they realized they were merely playing a game the game would cease to be real, the part they were acting would cease to be real so therefore they would lose the game because the game would no longer be "reality" and they would have to see their "reality" for what it was... only part of a game.

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.

By playing the "game of life" that society has set up for us we lose doubly:

First we lose ourselves by taking on roles that are not who we are. By becoming a role rather than who we are as spiritual entities we lose our true selves.

Second we lose again whenever we remember that we're playing a game. Why? Because whenever we remember that we're playing a game the game is no longer a game and thus our roles and what we have based our entire lives on become exposed for the lies that they are.

We are under contract with each other. We agreed in the astral plane, There it is an ocean of white light consciousness that has all information, a level we do not understand,
Basically we are ice floating on an ocean, we die we melt into the ocean, still there another form and blended in the whole, we re freeze and are here in this form.
We will all have a white light experience when we die. And we get glimpses of it through meditation, prayer, trance, etc. Some have better upbringing than others. Also there are universal forces ,that stabilize reality. Make sure awakened individual in a moment of anger does not kill a thousand people.
Psychically we are all children, we could not handle psychic powers, imagine giving a four year old a gun with bullets, how to work it, allowing him to run free and use it and NOT give him any idea of what his actions cause as he shoots it everywhere and at everyone.
The universe guards against this.
Help others to help ourselves. Finally everyone has a place. We want to change reality a little for ur own benefit mostly sometimes for others, but we change it unconsciously, mostly, in small ways we do not even realize within the rules of our game and when it changes bit, it is a miracle which we have little control over.
