Sheriff deputy shoots in-laws and has himself barricaded and is holding his children hostage

Shooting in-laws is not so surprising, but holding your kids hostage? That is messed up.

Well this guys day must have been nuts. Hopefully he lets his kids go and everyone walks out.

Wonder why he was allowed to remain a police officer as it seems he has had domestic violence issues before?

The mother in-law he shot just died.The father in-law he shot is still in the house dead. And he let his kids go. He's still holed up in the basement armed and dangerous. Seattle SWAT is on the scene.

The city of Huntsville Al just went through something similar last month. A jailer shot his wife in the head in front of deputies and then the deputies killed him. Very sad.

•Around May 1, Ethan arrived in Utah from Virginia to visit his mother.
•May 4, a cell phone time stamp reveals Stephanie took a picture of Ethan with swelling and bruising on his jaw.

Well it ended with the SWAT team finding him dead inside the house 6 hours later. His wife was not home at the time of the incident.

Interesting. A basement should be relatively easy to fortify if he intends to go down fighting (very few of them do, they either give up or get shot by snipers).

Sad that the poor wife got shot but nice indeed that the deputies saved Huntsville so much time and money that might have been spent on that total waste of space had he lived.
