Err OP - I just recived a chunk of this thread via email from a Yahoo Group.

I never thought of the end of the world as the end, i always thought of it as a new world or a new beginning coming and i have always looked forward to it for that reason.
There is so much corruption and evil here on Earth now it needs to be swept clean for a new way of thinking and doing things. The new world will be much better and technology will grow and be used for the right reasons this time ..a new dawn of enlightenment and creativity, we will get on the right path once again and i believe we will make it this time.

My daughter drew a picture the other day of a red comet flying by the earth. She even called it a comet...I have no idea how she even knows what a comet is. She loves kitties and she told me the comet was going to hit the kitty. She also drew a picture of the ocean with large waves, when I asked her what they were she said they were the voices of the dead. It freaked me out.

Anybody have any strange markings/symbols on yer hands or fingers ?

I think it's great you're giving your kids so much leeway to be kids and be creative.

And maybe I'm biased as it's a huge part of my life, but don't you think that by denying your kids access to the world of film you're kind of denying them access to a wonderful, amazing artistic medium, arguably the most relevant medium of our time...?

(GRANTED, I can't defend 90% of the bullshit which is on the airwaves...but certain television shows may not be such a bad influence, either...)

I had a bruise on my hand Tuesday morning when I woke up. It was big, dark purple an inch and a half long and an inch wide just above my thumb and first finger on the top of my right hand. I woke up and looked at it and thought "what the hell...where did that come from?" It didn't hurt and I couldn't remember hitting my hand. Now at that point I thought, "I am going to have that for awhile but what did I do to get it"? I wouldn't have thought anything else about it but the "VERY NEXT DAY" I looked down at my hand and the bruise was gone! No color no purple, yellow anything just gone. The only thing there is a tiny mark that I can barely see that looks like an X..Really odd...
