Why I find this scary is that people will take his belief in science as a negative

That's because if science were better understood in Alabama
most of the people there would be horrified to learn that they

Evolution is a religion. You have to believe in it, because there is no supporting evidence whatsoever.
If a candidate believes in the myth of evolution, I think it is a valid subject to expose because it shows the candidate is not very educated or informed on science or reality.

Fyi, i'm from the south, not inbred, believe it or not, i can trace my bloodline back to crazy horse, george washington, robert E. lee, the royal bloodline of england, and back all the way to ireland and germany, no imbreeding here, sorry.

As for heritage you would be hard pressed to find anyone who is more southern than me. I was married in a Civil War Period home in Mobile and the wedding was done completely the same way they were in the south during the civil war and no one was wearin' blue!

It's a moot point to attack a candidate for something he was taught in high school and college. They should be attacking the institutions that teach these misconceptions, and the people supporting the science.

People vote with their beliefs, athiests, deists, christians, muslims, etc.

This thread is basically attacking people for practicing their right to vote because their religion might sway them, while the ad may be in bad taste, if it's true, people will care, and in the way this country was built, people are allowed the freedom of voting for who they wish to, based on what they want their leaders to do, unless of course, you believe all polls are fixed.

Religion is taught in our public schools. Creationist views are unwelcome. One side is presented. And students are not given a choice.

In a nation that stands for freedom, that is unfair to the young minds who are subjected to this one-sided debate.

Many of their moral choices are going to be based on that belief. Not only will their standing in life be graded upon those choices, but their salvation will also depend on the concepts taught in our public schools.

There is no separation of church and state as long as Darwinists have present a one-sided approach to teaching students the nature of their origin.

In a nation which was based on the separation of church and state Darwin evolutionist theories stand as an affront to the separation of church and state, because in and of itself Darwinian evolution is a religion.
