Not sure, there have been other strandings since then, without tsunami events following. But I do wonder each time. I will see if I can refind the article I read at the time and post it for you.

I can't find a copy of the article by Scott Alexander King regarding what the whales said to him when he attended the stranding. But what follows is a theory presented by someone else regarding a possible connection.

The Earthquake & Tsunami were Predicted?

Is mass beaching of whales and dolphins followed by a subsequent earthquake?

A Mangalore-based medical college professor thinks so. About a month ago, on December 4, Dr Arunachalam Kumar from Kasturba Medical College posted an item on a Princeton listserve regarding the mass beaching of 80 whales and dolphins in Australia. The item he posted on the listserve was this:

“It is my observation, confirmed over the years, that mass suicides of whales and dolphins that occur sporadically all over the world, are in someway related to change and disturbances in the electromagnetic field coordinates and possible re-alignments of geotectonic plates thereof.

“Tracking the dates and plotting the locales of tremors and earthquakes, I am reasonably certain, that major earthquakes usually follow within a week or two of mass breaching of cetaceans.

“I have noted, with alarm, the last week report of such mass deaths of marine mammals in an Australian beachside. I will not be surprised if within a few days a massive hit (earthquake) hits some part of the globe.

“The inter-relationship between the unusual ‘death-wish’ of pods of whales and its inevitable aftermath, the earthquake, may need a further impassioned and unbiased looking into.”

Since then, an earthquake and a tsunami have come and gone. The Princeton listserve is now hopping with discussions around Dr Kumar’s predictive posting.

From Mangalore, Dr Kumar says, “I noticed the connection over the last few years. I put it up on the Princeton listserve. Since the tsunami, many have shown interest in this theory. Of course it’s not something I have proved scientifically, because I am only a college professor, but it would be interesting if someone followed it up.”

Dr Kumar says an earthquake follows within 10 days of the mass beaching of whales, which in this case happened November 29; the first submarine tremors were reported by December 16 or so.

He says, “If someone were to compare dates for the last 10 major earthquakes and whale stranding, they will find a link. Whales and dolphins migrate thousands of miles along the geomagnetic wave, using it to align themselves.

"If they’re beaching, it means their direction-finding capacity has gone wrong, perhaps, due to seismic activity.

"It may derange the cerebral compass that these dolphins possess, and causes stranding, followed by earthquakes, volcano and/or a tsunami. It could be a warning to us, unfortunately, they are paying the penalty.”

Other people on the listserve have theorised that mass beaching of whales could be because they develop hearing problems due to the rumble of the earthquake.

But Kumar says that logic does not follow as the beaching occurs before the earthquake.

Here is the picture of the magnetic field as they show during a pole shift. [link to science.nasa.gov] You can see how it just get very complex. I'll bet that is really confusing for the whales and dolphins.

Perhaps the scientists are not in full agreement, but there is some evidence of electromagnetic disturbance preceeding an earthquake.. [link to findarticles.com]

I think you are right that the whales beaching and the earthquakes are related, and it is because of electromagnetic field disturbances.

It is about 3/4 the way down the page. You can see how that the patterns get very complex during a pole reversal. It must be very difficult for the whales and dolphins. For that matter, every animal (and humans too), may be somewhat affected by electromagnetic changes. Just not as much as the whales and dolphins.

The reversal, though, will not be as slow as they think. It will be fast.

I think that you are wrong when you suppose that humans will not be as much affected as whales or dolphins. On the contrary! Our psychism is much more connected to electromagnetism than we seem to know. Being more complex, the effects suffered will be much wider in intensity and scope. Look for widespread confusion and despair when all references start moving and get entangled.

"This will pass." "I am not going insane." "I know what this is." "I can get through this." Remind yourself of this periodically as you lie curled up on the ground. It seems simple but it is very important. You must try to maintain a perspective of ´self´. You must keep an intact ´ego´.

When the reversal is complete, if you have survived while outdoors you need to get inside somestructure. If you are indoors, stay there. Noxious gasses will have vented from the planet and
you will need to stay indoors for THREE DAYS. Make sure all doors and windows are closed. You may want to stuff towels or such things in any ´cracks´ around doors and other places. The sun
will be partially obscured for a time. Most likely you will not feel like eating anything but drink a little water if there is some available. Take the three days to ´collect´ yourself.

After the three days the gasses will largely disperse. Many have perished. There is much work to be done. Although many devices and much equipment has been destroyed, technology has not
been lost, just severely disrupted. Some ´localities´ will remain relatively intact and this will be a starting point. For instance, if an electric generating facility is in your area, the people who had worked there need to go back there and try to get power restored to the local area. Of course this will require getting supplies of fuel to the facility and many other things. All of this needs to be done. If you had worked in or managed a warehouse where food or other goods are stored, you need to go there and see about distributing them. Of course you will not be ´paid´ for doing this, but after all, what would you do with it? Repair and rebuilding will be the order of the day for this generation. Near endless possibilities have opened up for your culture and society. Choose wisely.

For some time after the reversal there will be many people who seem quiet or even incoherent, or who just sit and cry. DO NOT CHASTISE THEM FOR THIS. Rather, show them your strength, let them see you working hard. Most of them will soon join in and help.

I agree with you about the reversal. I think it will be fast. Actually I thought it would be more like 10 minutes. I have read about the event from many sources, I can't really say which one I derived that from.. I guess, we will find out in time.

I am not sure where NASA's article came up with their timeframe. Maybe they were counting all the time it takes for things to settle back down to normal. Like, maybe they are counting the current time frame as already in this reversal, since they are documenting changes in the electromagnetic flow.

One thing I am uncertain about.. If pole reversal takes place, will electrical devices no longer work? I would think battery operated would work. But as far as other electrical devices, would they need to be wired in reverse? I just don't know electricity well enough to understand that part.

As far as the effect on humans, I really do like your post. And I agree that people need to try to think beyond the moment. Understanding what is happening will help keep people calm. Events that radical are going to bring out fear. People will reach out to higher powers to stay calm. And that is a good thing!

I recall reading about studies where electromagnetic changes effect people's psyche. Maybe we will see people going a bit crazy. I mean, not out of fear, but because of the electromagnetic change.

Not sure about the "no warning" part. I mean, I would expect a few mega earthquakes or volcano eruptions as a wake up call. not sure!

I tuned in on your question a couple of times.
It is very unclear to me. Our Solar system is changing by the minute now. To fast
to see everything. Out there its dark. I earlier saw a meteor or comet. It will hit
the South Pacific.
I saw The Red Ball coming.
For the problems will be big enough, with or without a Poleshift. But again, its not
clear to me. I do not have that wisdom, I only could guess. But I am here to share
my Visions with you, and not guesses. But we will see huge earthchanges.

You could be right about this. The earth changes Gaia Man sees may be part of an earth shift. I do respect Gaia Man to not venture guesses but to just stay with the visions.

At the same time, I have had a keen interest in the topic of earth shift for many many years. I wonder if the portals that Gaia Man mentions are going to open after or before the earth shift (that we presume will also take place).. The earth shift should result in big loss of life. Water would be displaced over land, etc..

Coming back to the strandings ... I hadn't clicked on the link about the recent one in Tasmania. I notice that it mentions that they often occur in Australia and New Zealand. There is a chain of underwater volcanoes above New Zealand, which was quaking recently. Also, lava is flowing into the ocean from them.

I read recently on godlike that the magnetic properties are contained within lava, ie, if the concentration of lava at the poles shifts, therefore the poles do as well.

Therefore, underwater eruptions/activities (and tsunamis) would also affect the whales and dolphins radars. Again, strange though that it seems to happen in advance.

On a less scientific note, I had read a couple of years ago that both of these creatures will be leaving the planet and returning to their own. We humans are to step up into their roles of monitoring the plates. Since then many dead whales have been washing up on beaches, and species of dolphins begun to die out.
